“How To” Life Skills Workshop

Learn “How to” with our facilitators. Classes include: How to change a tire, How to budget your money, How to Garden, How to build a resume, and much more. See Calendar.

Different agencies from around the city will come in every month, to do a webinar on their programs to help build knowledge and know how to navigate their processes. See Calendar. 

Mental Health Series

Join us on Zoom to learn how to manage stress and understand anxiety, practice self-care and everything else mental health related.  Programs include: Just for you- Self-care, Understanding & Managing Anxiety, and Winter Blues (S.A.D.) See Calendar

Self-Care Workshop

 Zoom meetings on how to look after ourselves. Using self-care models and medicine wheel teachings to learn our own unique self-care needs. See Calendar.

Garth and the Guys

A safe place for male youth to get together and spend time with a Positive Male Role Model. Growing up happens way too fast and before we blink we are being asked what we want to be when we grow up. Our youth have way too much that they need to share with the world before they grow up and we need to start listening. A saying that always rings true is “If we listen, maybe we will hear”.

Garth and the Guys is a program for male youth to learn, grow and become part of a healthy and safe community. See Calendar. 

Guitar Lessons/Music Jam

An interactive way to learn how to play guitar for 13-17 year olds. See Calendar.

Tween Program

Fun and interactive programming for young adolescents aged 9-12 years old. Hosted in collaboration with the Kikosewin Family Resource Centre. Twice a month programs are offered for tweens. Join us for fun and learning with recreational activities and Indigenous teachings. Thursday afternoons.
