‘Aksistooyíípaitapissin’ is ‘the thing that motivates someone to stay alive’. Join us as we build connections, experience indigenous teachings and express! Snacks and journals provided. Bi-Weekly Tuesdays 3:30 – 5 PM

Guitar Lessons

In partnership with the Sarah McLaughlin school of Music we are offering bi weekly guitar lessons. No matter your skill or experience, come out and learn something new! Tuesdays 3:30 – 4:30 PM (Bi-weekly)

Around the Hub

Learn life skills, traditional crafting, and support self awareness! “Around the Hub” draws from the unique skill sets of Kikosewin’s staff, and shares these with our youth. Mondays 4:00 – 5:30 PM

Indigenous Teachings

A weekly educational program offering traditional Indigenous experiences, teachings, projects and more. 

Adventure Nites

Meet new friends and try new adventures! We have partnered with the Alpine Club of Canada for some incredible experiences. From ice climbing and skiing to rock climbing and skateboarding, all levels are welcome! Jan 13 – Mar 4

Tween Program

Fun and interactive programming for young adolescents aged 9-12 years old. Hosted in collaboration with the Kikosewin Family Resource Centre. Twice a month programs are offered for tweens. Join us for fun and learning with recreational activities and Indigenous teachings. 

Wellness Days

Taking care of yourself through community, education and connection is extremely important, especially since these past couple of years. Wellness days are to share meals, learn from guest speakers and have some fun! Jan 20, Feb 17 and Mar 17 4 – 6 PM

Mental Health Connect

New Year, New you? Want to focus on becoming more zen? Learn new tips on how to understand and improve your mental health. A partnership with the St. Albert Family Resource Center. Jan 27, Feb 24, Mar 24 3:30 – 4:30 PM
